Hello! My name is Chelsea Parrish -- a Motion Designer and Graphic Artist based in Los Angeles working under the name Digital Dreamer Studios. I believe motion design can make complex ideas simple. Growing up, textbooks didn't click for me, but visuals did, so now I use motion graphics to help others understand things more clearly.
With 10 years of freelance experience, I've created everything from tiny stickers for non-profits to giant billboards for Netflix. I love collaborating with clients to bring ideas to life through clean, engaging, and educational design and animation.
As a one-stop-shop, I handle creative direction, graphic design, animation, editing, and delivering. You can see the breakdown of my process on the SERVICES page.
Need help with a project? I offer a free 45-minute consultation by phone, Zoom, or even in person over coffee. Let's talk about how motion design can work for you.

ABOUT ME
I have been a motion designer since June 2015. I started out in live events as a stage manager and events coordinator in New York and that part of my career taught me to lead, collaborate, and perform under pressure -- skills that now deeply inform how I work as a designer.
But design is really who I am and when I come alive. As someone who's always learned better through visuals than text, motion design gave me a way to understand and communicate ideas more clearly, and to help others do the same.
After a decade in NYC, I Eat-Pray-Loved my way to Los Angeles and now edit videos under the sun and the palm trees.
Outside of the studio, I'm a bookworm (thanks to years of subway rides), a Procreate artist, a RomCom fanatic, and a 3rd-wave barista; yes, I still pull espresso shots on the weekends. I'm also an eternal optimist and someone who truly believes that good design can make life a little easier.
