Bark & Boo is an award-winning script (Cinequest, 2023) that is being turned into a beautiful 10-minute animated short film.
The story delves into the ideas of loss, mourning, and hope. In an old abandoned house, two lonely souls unknowingly share the same space — Boo, a melancholic ghost trapped in his former home, and Bark, his loyal but aging Saint Bernard.
As Executive Producer, I have built a visual identity for the project, helped get approved for a fiscal sponsorship (meaning all donations are 100% tax deductible), hired associate producers, garnered interest and small donors, designed social media posts, and continuously motivate the team to blaze towards our goal of raising $125k to make this story a reality. This project serves as a cornerstone of my mission to use high-level animation and illustration to simplify deep human experiences for visual learners.
