This '90s-style toy commercial was a passion project from filmmaker Rudy Salas of Phantom Boom, created purely for fun and out of love for nostalgic horror and comic book culture. Inspired by vintage monster flicks and late-night toy ads, the piece celebrates The Wolfman in all his monstrous glory.
I was brought on to design and animate the titles and text treatments, contribute to the overall visual polish, and create a morphing effect that transformed a human hand into a wolf's paw. The final deliverables included both a black-and-white cut and a full-color version, paying homage to retro horror and creature-feature aesthetics.
Though this style falls outside of my usual brand, it was a great opportunity to collaborate with a talented director and apply motion design in a playful, cinematic setting.
